Capabilities
Designs antibody/nanobody CDR loops onto a real framework. Input: target PDB + epitope hotspots + a VHH or scFv framework; output: designed CDR backbones, then sequences via its ProteinMPNN step and a filter pass with RoseTTAFold2 antibody scoring.
When to use it
Use when you specifically need CDR-loop design on a real framework (VHH or scFv) rather than generic binders. Published experimental hit rates are low and affinities are typically weak starting points needing affinity maturation.

Commercial Licensing
Commercial rights — may a company use it?
UnverifiedLicence as writtenMIT License
The repo LICENSE is MIT, which covers the code. The README downloads model weights via include/download_weights.sh but states no separate license for those weights, so weight terms are unverified.
We could not find a published statement that settles it (often: the model weights carry no licence). Treat as unknown.
Commercial cost — is commercial use free of charge?
Free for commercial useNo fee is charged for the code (MIT) or the weight download script, but the weights carry no licence of their own, so the right to use them commercially is a separate, unresolved question from the price.
Price and rights are separate: this panel is about money, the panel above is about permission.
- Commercial OK ≠ Free of charge. A tool can be licensed for company use and still need a paid licence for a dependency (BindCraft → PyRosetta).
- Free download ≠ Commercially licensed. Weights you can download at no cost may still forbid commercial use (AlphaFold 3).
- Unverified ≠ Commercially permitted. If no published statement settles it, treat it as unknown — not as a yes.
- Every component counts. Each status considers the code licence, the model-weights terms, required dependencies and any terms of use.
Model Weights
Open weights. A separate weights licence is Not documented as its own field; where weights carry different terms from the code, that is stated in the licence explanation above.
Dependencies
Not documented as a separate field. Any dependency that affects commercial use (for example a paid PyRosetta licence) is named in the licence and cost explanations above.
